Mission City Community Fund
The Mission City Community Fund is a San Jose, CA based meta-charity serving Silicon Valley. After thirty-five years of ad-hoc design work, they needed an updated and cohesive identity program to maintain credibility with stakeholders.
A simple identity system was developed using the iconography of local landmarks. The design of the logo and typography system uses free fonts to make it easier and cost-effective for many parties to create new materials.
A new website was designed and built using WordPress, allowing multiple contributors to add content to the site. Paper forms and applications were moved online, modernizing and streamlining the grant application process for volunteers.
